Projected potential

Bio

A huge and intelligent netminder who has put up strong results in a bit part role in one of the KHL’s top teams as a D+1.

PNHLe

PNHLe data is not available for this prospect yet.

What is PNHLe?

PNHLe is an offensive stat that is used to project a player’s point potential at the NHL level and is meant to standardize a variety of leagues so that prospects can be compared from one league with another.

PNHLe attempts to equalize all leagues, age and positions so that the offensive potential of a prospect can easily be compared with others, while also projecting future NHL point potential in the prime years of a player.

The problem with NHLe

The premise of the NHLe stat is certainly a great idea. If a player jumps directly from one league to the NHL there should be some precedent set by historical values that would indicate how many points that player should project to having in a full NHL season. However, it always bothered me that NHLe never took into account that younger players in the same league would always have a massive disadvantage compared to those that have more experience and are physically more mature in the same league. NHLe only looks at the present to predict how many points in one league are equated at the NHL level.

Upside
7.5

Best-case offensive upside (peak season points potential). Forwards: 8.0 ≈ 80 points. Defense and goalie scales differ.

Scouting Feed

Moysevich signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Vegas Golden Knights in March 2026. His deal carries an average annual value (AAV) of $980K and runs through the 2028-29 season. The 21-year-old netminder finished with a 5-3-0 record, a 2.41 GAA, and a .917 SV% in 10 games for SKA-VMF St. Petersburg (VHL) in Russia last season.

This past year was rough for Moysevich. In 2023-24, he looked like one of the brightest goaltending prospects in the league, posting a .942 in 13 games of KHL play and was even more dominant in the MHL, posting a .946 in 10 playoff games. However, this year, his numbers in both leagues dropped from the .940s to below .900. He is expected to spend the start of next season in the VHL, where he will hopefully regain his confidence, and then, if all goes well, jump up to the KHL again. This is a high upside netminder who could become an NHL starter one day, but for him to get there, he will need to find his form again.

Moysevich was selected 83rd overall by the Vegas Golden Knights.

Another overage goaltender playing in the KHL, Moysevich is a 6’5 D+1 who got some playing time with SKA St. Petersburg this year. While his KHL numbers should be taken with a grain of salt – his deployment was odd, often only playing part of a game – he looked up to the part as a professional level goalie. Moysevich’s strengths come in his positioning and ability to use his frame to minimize the threat of opportunities. He has relatively strong hands and is very difficult to beat cleanly. At the KHL level, his skating and lateral movement was occasionally prone to breakdown, but the ceiling is clearly there. (April Rankings: #95)
