After three seasons with North Dakota of the NCAA, and hardly any offensive progression, it is safe to assume that Strinden is not on the path to the NHL anytime soon. With his main contribution being defensive reliability, he could potentially help out an AHL team as a bottom-six forward who kills penalties. For now, his offensive output at the NCAA level has not signalled an ability to keep up with the speed of the NHL game, so there is very little reason to keep a spot on fantasy managers’ watch lists for Strinden.

Strinden has been selected by the Nashville Predators with the 210th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.

Strinden is a two-way centerman who is reliable at both ends of the ice but can sometimes lack decision-making skills. He has had two concussions in recent history, so he has some injury risk attached to him. His transition to the NCAA this upcoming season with the University of North Dakota will go a long way in getting a better read on his true ceiling.
