Already sized for the NHL at 18 years old, Ambrosio was the second last player taken in the NHL draft by the Los Angeles Kings. Defensemen, let alone of his stature, are notoriously long development projects, and Ambrosio projects to be a defensive, shutdown defender most notably. Given the low offense- 20 points in 64 OHL games- it would be too early to plan on devoting fantasy roster space to him at this point, but there’s plenty of road ahead for him to build on his tools and gain fantasy relevance.
