A skilled stickhandler who is dangerous in space and dynamic in the open ice. Kosick’s game is all about offense. He has good vision, is good at picking out trailers, and is effective on the powerplay. Engagement in his own end is a bit of a work in progress, as he doesn’t play with any physicality and can sometimes be a step slow in defensive awareness. Kosick can be very fun to watch, but he’ll need to play more of a two-way game if he wants to stick at the Center position.
