Projected as a mid-late round pick in the 2025 draft, he went undrafted and will look to put himself back on the 2026 NHL Draft radar with a strong season in the Western Hockey League. Holding Woo back is his lack of size and physicality. He has the potential to become a bottom-pairing defenseman that could be used on the power play if he gets an NHL opportunity. Still, the most likely scenario is that he becomes a bubble AHL/NHL player, much like his brother Jett Woo, who plays in the Vancouver Canucks organization, primarily in the American Hockey League with the Abbotsford Canucks.
