Scouting Feed
In addition to his breakout 90-point regular season campaign, Uronen added 13 points (five goals and eight assists) in 11 post-season games with the Kingston Frontenacs before being eliminated in the second round of the OHL Playoffs by the Barrie Colts.
Uronen can play both center and wing; he has a good hockey sense and can anticipate plays in advance while making intelligent plays with and without the puck. Translating that to the pro level will be the next step in Uronen’s development; his 2025-26 season should be spent in the American Hockey League with the Henderson Silver Knights.
After a strong draft year with HIFK U20 in Finland, where he posted 43 points in 39 games, Vegas spent a sixth-round selection on the rugged winger. His D+1 season was a write-off, as injuries limited him to just 11 games in the OHL with the Ottawa 67’s. An off-season trade to Kingston and a return to health have Uronen on the fantasy radar. The power forward is on pace for a 90-point campaign and had a strong showing with Finland at the WJC, including the overtime game-winning goal against the USA. Uronen remains unsigned by Vegas but is undoubtedly trending towards his ELC and will turn pro in the 2025-26 season.
