Copponi’s fourth NCAA season saw offensive regression, going down from 1.06 points per game playing for Merrimack College in 2023-24 to 0.6 points per game for Boston University in 2024-25. The reason for the regression playing for Boston is due to the stronger offensive depth in Boston. Copponi also saw three AHL games and registered two assists for the Bakersfield Condors. He has some offensive ability in the right opportunities, and will likely see middle-six minutes for the Condors in 2025-26 as he signed a two-year AHL contract in June 2025 with Bakersfield.
