Robertson was traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for Jon-Randall Avon. Robertson meets Philadelphia’s focus on gritty two-way players, but his prospects of making the NHL roster will be similar to what they were of making Seattle’s. He likely figures to be an AHL contributor barring injuries or a strong camp. His fantasy value won’t change, but that Philadelphia chose to acquire him could mean they are more willing to give him some NHL time than Seattle was likely to.

Robertson provided bottom six depth for the Coachella Valley Firebirds in 2024-2025. He never projected as a bona fide fantasy option at the NHL level, and as he continues his play in the AHL, that picture is clearer. his four goals and five assists in 28 AHL games don’t reflect his true value to the Firebirds, as he is more of a physical defensive presence. He isn’t worth rostering in fantasy leagues.
Robertson has moved to the AHL full time, after seeing some reps in the ECHL last season. He projects as a bottom six player, and doesn’t quite have the offensive upside as the additions to the Kraken pipeline since his draft year. Though he isn’t without offensive potential based on some strong OHL seasons, at this point he is likely not someone you will roster regularly on your fantasy roster.
Like many of his Kraken prospect brethren, Robertson had a fantastic season in the OHL. He was one of four Kraken prospects to finish in the top 16 in points (had to get Kyle Jackson in there!) and finished with 36 goals and 54 assists in 68 games. Kraken kids also littered the top ten in OHL Playoff scoring. Three of them made the list, with Robertson coming in at number eight, with nine goals and 13 assists in 22 games. Robertson’s scouting reports comment on his strong defensive game, which bodes well for his chances to get a look for the big club as he moves along in his development.
Robertson was selected by the Seattle Kraken in the fourth round with the 123rd overall pick of the 2022 NHL Draft.
