The awards matched the tape and production. He was a unanimous Hockey East First Team selection, the league’s Goaltender of the Year, Hockey East Player of the Year, and a Mike Richter Award finalist.

The remaining question is pro translation, specifically whether his upright coverage and size-first style hold up as pace, east-west passing, and second-touch chaos increase. But this season pushed him out of the “interesting NCAA rights question” tier and into the “real NHL pipeline goalie” tier for Utah.
