Ossie McIntyre #19 Spokane Chiefs – March 18, 2009 – Left shot centre. 5.09 / 163 McIntyre is a defensive forward. Strength: Thinks the game quickly and consistently finds open ice. Anticipates the play well with strong situational awareness and keeps his head up as a puck carrier. A reliable backchecker who disrupts opposing rushes effectively. Shows good edge work and balance, often battling through traffic—even when triple-teamed along the boards—to come out with the puck. Finishes his checks with a touch of grit, even got into a fight in this viewing. Opportunity for Improvement: Can be knocked down too easily; would benefit from improving his stance and lower-body strength to increase stability.
