2027 NHL Draft Prospect Report – Luca Jarvis (RW)
Luca Jarvis #15 Spokane Chiefs
Right shot, right wing. 6.00 / 191
DOB: November 15, 2008
Jarvis is a good-sized two-way winger who is a good skater with a strong hockey IQ and reads the game well. He is effective on the power play and uses his awareness to make smart decisions with the puck. Jarvis is a reliable back checker and does a good job reading and reacting to transition opportunities out of his own zone. In the defensive zone, he keeps his head on a swivel and consistently accounts for opposing players. He also shows a willingness to block shots and compete in key areas of the ice.
Jarvis would benefit from rounding out his game by using his body more and playing with greater physicality. Adding a stronger physical element would make him more difficult to play against and complement his existing two-way abilities.
